Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out because I have a trip coming up and I’m not sure whether it’s time to stop boarding Daisy, my 11-year-old Beagle, when I travel. She’s always been really social and enjoys being around other dogs, so I’ve never had an issue with boarding her in the past. But lately, I’ve been noticing her slowing down a bit more, and I’m worried about how she’ll handle being away from home for a few days at her age.
She’s still in good health overall, but I want to make sure I’m making the right decision for her well-being. I’m just not sure when it’s time to stop boarding and maybe look into other options, like a pet sitter or even taking her along with me.
Has anyone else had to make this decision? What are the signs that it’s time to change how you manage their care when traveling? I’d love to hear your experiences and advice.
Thanks so much for any thoughts you have!
Margie
